 +===== Hunger & Thirst =====
 +In the harsh world of Requiem, survival goes beyond weapons and magic; it starts with your body. Your character's journey through diplomacy, war, and the unknown rests on a simple truth: a starving warrior is a dying warrior.

 +===== Checking Your Hunger and Thirst Status    =====
 +
 +To check your Hunger and Thirst, open the Codex and go to the Body tab. (Command : //**[Codex**//)
 +
 +100% means your body is fully satisfied and hydrated.
 +
 +0% indicates you are on the verge of collapse.
 +
 +If your hunger or thirst drops to 40% or so, you will suffer damage from hunger/thirst pangs. At 10%, you lose Animus every ten minutes or so! If you remain at 0% for too long, you can starve to death โ€“ permanently

 +===== Effects of Hunger and Thirst =====
 +
 +Staying fed and hydrated is essential for keeping your physical performance at its best. Ignoring these needs leads to serious consequences, including loss of stamina, lowered stats, and if it continues, unconsciousness. Eating spoiled or contaminated food and drink can make these issues worse, leading to negative effect or speed up the character to knocked out.
 +
 +On the other hand, spending effort to acquire clean sources of water and food will have beneficial effects. A simple act of boiling water with a kettle will yield drinkable water or find characters that are able to cook up a delicious meal, Depending on the type and skills of the crafter, there are varying effects to benefit from. [See the [[https://requiemrpg.com/skills/cooking.htm|Cooking]] skill for more information.]
 +
 +//Final Thoughts//   As you explore the cursed lands of Requiem, keep this in mind:   Eat well. Drink deep.   A warm fire and a shared meal may not protect you from the horrors outside, but they can remind you why you keep fighting.
